Shanetra Lumar, MA, LCMHCA
Shanetra Lumar graduated with her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has over 10 years of experience working with diverse populations within the community and in an office setting. She has provided resources to men and women in domestic violence relationships, teenagers and parents with family conflict, and provided parenting education to new parents. Shanetra is passionate about advocating and collaborating with families to help strengthen the family unit. She believes that each family has the potential to develop and implement positive and lasting change. Her therapeutic modalities are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy.
In her free time, Shanetra enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and trying new restaurants.
