Natalie Laurendeau, MSW, LCSWA
Natalie graduated from the University of New Hampshire with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Justice Studies, and a minor in Forensics. She then moved to North Carolina and earned her Master’s in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she obtained her school social work licensure. Through her many internships, Natalie has clinical experience working with children affected by divorce, trauma, the foster care system, anxiety, and ADHD. Her passion lies in helping children heal from trauma, and she hopes to achieve certification in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Utilizing a blend of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Child Centered Play Therapy, and Solutions Focused Therapy, Natalie tailors interventions to each client’s unique needs. Her approach is client-centered, focusing on meeting children and caregivers where they are to facilitate meaningful progress.
In her free time, Natalie enjoys exploring coffee shops, listening to music, hanging out with her niece and nephews, and gardening.
