Lisa Smith Grunz, MS, LCMHCA
Lisa graduated with her Master of Science in Couples and Family Counseling from UNC-Greensboro and has Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Georgia. She is passionate about assisting and empowering individuals, couples, adolescents, and children to discover new possibilities, cope with difficult circumstances, and achieve meaningful and lasting growth. Lisa has experience working with clients facing grief/ loss, anxiety, depression, family instability, relationship distress, and trauma. She uses evidence-based approaches such as Emotionally Focused Couples and Individual Therapy (EFT, EFIT), child centered play therapy techniques, and CBT. In her free time, Lisa enjoys being in nature, running, doing yoga, petting kitties, and laughing with loved ones.
