Kailei graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Master of Science in Counseling and Education Specialist dual degree, with a specialization in Couples and Family Counseling. UNCG is also where Kailei received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Business Administration and Human Development and Family Studies. Kailei is passionate about working with couples and supporting them through challenging times and life transitions, to work toward their relationship goals. Along with couples, Kailei has experience working with adolescents and adults, supporting those individuals in their goals and aspirations, as well as working with them to overcome their struggles. Kailei has training in Brainspotting, which is a trauma treatment, and has worked with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder, self-harm, suicidal ideation, identity concerns, and life transitions. Kailei believes each client is an expert in their own life and strives to work collaboratively with her clients to help achieve their goals. She is intensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and uses this treatment method along with a Person-Centered and Solution-Focused approach. In her free time, Kailei enjoys cooking, baking, reading, and spending quality time with friends and family.
