Family Solutions Attendance Policy for Private Insurance & Self Pay Clients
Regular, consistent attendance and participation is required in order for the therapeutic process to work. Once a therapy session is scheduled, that time slot is reserved specifically for you. As a Family Solutions client, we expect you to attend sessions scheduled by your therapist except in the event of sickness or emergency.
In the event of sickness or emergency, we require cancellation to be made at least 24 hours in advance to the scheduled appointment. Although 24 hours is the minimum, if you need to cancel or reschedule, please give as much notice as possible to your therapist.
Please note that No-Shows or Late Cancellations (less than 24 hours notice) for intake appointments will not be rescheduled. A fee of $40 dollars will be charged to self-pay and private insurance clients for each no-show or late cancellation. This must be paid prior to scheduling the next appointment with your therapist. Three no-shows or late cancellations during a two-month (60 day) period or two consecutive no-shows or late cancellations will result in discharge from our practice. We can assist you with referrals to other agencies should this event occur.
