Carrie Watkins, MSW, LCSWA
Carrie is a Licensed Clinical Social Work Associate, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Charleston Southern University and completing her Master of Social Work degree at Louisiana State University (Geaux Tigers!). In 2016, Carrie began working with children, adolescents, and their families in Children’s Advocacy Centers as an advocate and forensic interviewer before transitioning to providing community-based clinical services as an intensive in-home service provider. Carrie is passionate about providing treatment for survivors of abuse, and is an experienced speaker and training facilitator for schools, parents, and community agencies around abuse prevention and response. Carrie believes in using a trauma-informed, collaborative approach to treatment when working with individuals of all ages who may be experiencing concerns around their mental health, recovering from a traumatic event, or navigating transitional life changes. In her free time, Carrie enjoys running, mountain biking, and camping with her family.
